the Volume Soft Lock is simple but crucial to retain your volume adjustment. This SLA printed Volume Lock is made from High Impact Resin and has been thoroughly tested for strength and durability. Simply, slide the lock one way or the other to lock/unlock your volume adjustment. When finished using the radio, remove the lock and store separately. Since the lock is fitting over the antenna, the maximum antenna diameter is 14.5mm, .57", or 9/16 of an inch. We are working on locks to work with larger diameter antenna but this gives you a general guideline.

Currently only available for the Baofeng UV5R series (and BF-F8) radios.

    Volume Soft Lock

Great device when using the OEM antenna, however if you are utilizing a non-stock antenna, like an Abbree, it becomes useless as the base of that antenna is too big to fit the Soft Lock and you are back to the potential of the volume knob moving around. I would purchase a redesign, if it becomes available.

    Great customer service

I ordered two of these, and received a package with only one. Sent an email and they responded almost immediately to send the missing item. When I got the package they sent me the missing one plus an extra. Great customer service and this is a great volume lock that does exactly what you need without bulk that gets in the way of pouches

Great small device, works has intended. Just hold the volume button down & push up on the volume lock & it comes right off.

Works great on stock or narrow antennas

This is a great product, doesn't feel like it'll break and is sturdy, well designed for it's proper use. Unfortunately I have the antenna that folds over and the base is too thick, I have it swapped around and it'll work to an extent. Didn't consider how thick the antenna base is but it's still got its place.
